About me
I was raised in a Christian home on a farm in northeast Iowa. I was instilled with a love and respect for our Lord God and I strive to serve Him in all I do. As a Christian editor, I will do my best to uphold my Christian beliefs in the way I handle business. I strive to work with integrity and honesty as I do in all areas of my life. As a Christian editor, I make every effort to treat all clients with respect and dignity while remaining honest in my assessments and suggestions. This includes working diligently to provide quality editing and proofreading work that honors the skills God has given me.
My interests are in editing children’s books and young adult fiction, adult fiction—to include Christian or clean romance and historical romance, and nonfiction to include devotionals, medical texts, and cookbooks. I provide freelance editing and proofreading services as well as edit for Elk Lake Publishing Inc. I am a member of The Christian PEN as well as Word Weavers International.
I have 35 years of experience in healthcare as an X-ray technologist, specializing in General Imaging, MRI, and Mammography.
In my free time, I love to be outside enjoying the beautiful world God created — working in the yard, walking, kayaking, or lounging on the deck reading a good book. If I am not outside, I can be found in the kitchen cooking or baking, or on the couch with a good book.
